Fair Use Policy
Effective Date: October 16, 2026
Last Updated: October 16, 2026
This Fair Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of hosting services provided by XeniaCore ("XeniaCore," "we," "us," or "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all customers using our game server hosting, website hosting, Discord bot hosting, and related services.
Our goal is to provide reliable hosting for gaming communities, creators, developers, and businesses while protecting our infrastructure, network, and other customers.
By purchasing or using a XeniaCore service, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. General Fair Use
All services must be used responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with the specifications of the purchased plan.
You may not use your service in a way that:
- Disrupts or degrades infrastructure or other customers' services.
- Creates an unreasonable or unauthorized burden on shared resources.
- Compromises network security or system stability.
- Violates applicable law, third-party rights, or our Terms of Service.
- Circumvents technical restrictions, account limits, or resource allocations.
XeniaCore may monitor resource consumption and relevant technical activity to maintain security, investigate abuse, and ensure fair access to shared infrastructure.
2. CPU and Processing Resources
Customers must use allocated processing resources reasonably.
Prohibited activities include:
- Deliberately circumventing CPU allocation or process limits.
- Running unauthorized workloads that materially interfere with other customers.
- Using hosting services for prohibited cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities.
- Intentionally creating excessive processes or runaway workloads that threaten service stability.
Game servers, websites, and Discord bots naturally use different amounts of processing power. High usage alone does not necessarily constitute a violation if it remains within the plan's limits and does not create an unacceptable operational risk.
We may investigate sustained or abnormal usage and request configuration changes when necessary.
3. Memory and Storage
Customers must remain within the memory and storage limits of their purchased plans.
You may not:
- Circumvent assigned memory or storage restrictions.
- Intentionally exhaust shared storage or memory resources.
- Store unnecessary files for the purpose of degrading infrastructure performance.
- Use storage to distribute prohibited content or malicious software.
- Exploit file systems, backup systems, or temporary storage to obtain unauthorized resources.
Customers are responsible for managing their files, logs, databases, game worlds, website assets, plugins, mods, and bot dependencies.
If a service consistently exceeds its allocated resources, XeniaCore may request that the customer optimize the workload, remove unnecessary files, or upgrade to an appropriate plan.
4. Network Usage and Traffic
Our network is intended to support legitimate hosting activities, including game server connections, website traffic, and authorized bot communications.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Launching or coordinating unauthorized denial-of-service attacks.
- Conducting network flooding, traffic amplification, or similar attacks.
- Operating unauthorized traffic relays or services that create material security risks.
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages or abusive traffic.
- Deliberately bypassing network restrictions.
- Generating traffic intended to disrupt XeniaCore or third-party infrastructure.
High legitimate player counts, website traffic, or bot activity do not automatically constitute abuse. We assess network activity based on the purchased plan, technical limits, operational impact, and applicable policies.
5. Game Server Hosting
Customers using game server hosting must comply with the applicable game publisher's terms, licensing rules, and community guidelines.
You are responsible for:
- The content and conduct of your server community.
- The plugins, modifications, scripts, and other software installed on your server.
- Ensuring that uploaded content is lawful and appropriately licensed.
- Managing permissions, administrator access, and player data.
- Avoiding unauthorized attacks, exploits, or interference with other game servers.
You may not use XeniaCore game servers to host malicious software, facilitate attacks, distribute illegal content, or operate services prohibited by our Terms of Service.
Game-specific rules may apply where necessary.
6. Website Hosting
Website hosting must be used for lawful websites, applications, and related content.
The following are prohibited:
- Phishing pages or credential-harvesting websites.
- Malware distribution or exploit hosting.
- Fraudulent storefronts or deceptive impersonation websites.
- Unauthorized mass messaging or abusive email activity.
- Content that unlawfully infringes intellectual property or violates applicable law.
- Applications designed to attack, compromise, or disrupt other systems.
Customers are responsible for their website's code, dependencies, database security, content, and user permissions.
XeniaCore may temporarily restrict a website when necessary to address active threats, malicious activity, or significant infrastructure risks.
7. Discord Bot Hosting
Discord bot hosting may be used for legitimate applications, including moderation, ticket systems, community utilities, server integrations, and other permitted bot functionality.
Customers must comply with Discord's applicable Terms of Service, Developer Terms, Developer Policy, and API requirements.
Prohibited activities include:
- Spam, harassment, or abusive automated messaging.
- Unauthorized collection of credentials or sensitive information.
- Self-botting or other prohibited automation.
- Circumventing API rate limits or platform restrictions.
- Using bots to conduct raids, manipulate platform activity, or disrupt communities.
- Exposing bot tokens, API keys, or credentials in a way that compromises security.
Customers are responsible for the behavior of their bots and the permissions granted to them.
8. Security and Abuse Prevention
You must not use XeniaCore services to attack, scan, exploit, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts.
You must not intentionally introduce malware, create backdoors, or operate command-and-control infrastructure for malicious purposes.
If we reasonably believe a service has been compromised or is actively threatening other systems, we may isolate, suspend, or restrict it while investigating.
Customers must cooperate reasonably with legitimate security investigations involving their services.
9. Shared Infrastructure and Service Performance
Some hosting environments may share physical hardware, networking, or other infrastructure.
You must not intentionally interfere with the performance or availability of other customers' services.
We may implement resource limits, scheduling controls, traffic restrictions, isolation measures, or other technical safeguards to protect infrastructure.
We do not guarantee that every workload will achieve identical performance under all conditions. Performance depends on the purchased plan, application configuration, demand, software compatibility, and other technical factors.
10. Backups and Data Management
Unless backups are expressly included in your purchased plan, you are responsible for maintaining independent copies of important data.
You should regularly back up game worlds, website files, databases, bot configurations, and other important content.
XeniaCore does not guarantee the recovery of files lost through customer error, software failure, service termination, infrastructure incidents, or other causes unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
Customers must not abuse backup systems or attempt to access another customer's backups.
11. Resource Monitoring
XeniaCore may monitor technical information reasonably necessary to:
- Measure resource consumption.
- Identify excessive or abnormal workloads.
- Detect security incidents and malicious traffic.
- Enforce plan limits and this Policy.
- Maintain network reliability and service availability.
- Investigate complaints and suspected violations.
Monitoring will be conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We do not promise to inspect every file, application, message, or activity hosted on our infrastructure.
12. Enforcement
If we determine that a customer has violated this Policy, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity, urgency, and circumstances:
- Issue a warning or request corrective action.
- Require the customer to modify a configuration or workload.
- Apply reasonable resource or traffic restrictions.
- Temporarily suspend an affected service.
- Isolate a service that presents an active security risk.
- Terminate a service or account for serious, repeated, or uncorrected violations.
- Report suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities when legally appropriate or required.
For active attacks, serious security threats, fraud, or other urgent situations, we may act immediately without advance notice where permitted by law.
Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to correct it before imposing a lasting restriction.
13. Violations and Refunds
A violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination under our Terms of Service.
Refund eligibility is governed by the applicable refund terms, Purchase Agreement, and mandatory law. A violation does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund.
Nothing in this Policy permits XeniaCore to disregard refund obligations imposed by applicable law.
14. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a XeniaCore-hosted service is being used for malicious, unlawful, or abusive activity, please contact us through the official contact or support channels listed at:
Include relevant details, such as the affected service, timestamps, and a description of the suspected activity. Do not include passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our infrastructure, services, security requirements, or legal obligations.
The updated version will be published on our website with a revised date. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
